Maxine Hall Health Center will temporarily move on November 5, 2019, for a building remodel.

Maxine Hall Health Center will move on November 5, 2019, to a temporary clinic at 1181 Golden Gate Ave. The clinic will be closed on November 1 and 4, 2019.

Hours of Operation: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday – Friday

We are closed 1-3 p.m. the first Wednesday of every month, and for City and County of San Francisco Holidays.

Nurse Drop-In Hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. – 10 a.m.
  • Monday – Tuesday: 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.

Our Services

Management of chronic conditions, referrals to specialists, annual physicals, hospital follow-up

Our staff speaks the following languages: English, Spanish, Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), Tagalog, Arabic, French

Nurses are available to provide medical advice and health information over the phone. Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM Monday – Friday.

Diabetes education, medication information, immunizations, wound care, orientation clinic for new patients. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday mornings; call for availability.

Pregnancy check-ups, postpartum care, well-baby, nutrition

by appointment only, Thursday afternoons only

Gynecological exams, birth control information and supplies, family planning, STI/STD education and testing

Short-term behavioral health counseling (6-8 sessions) for mild to moderate conditions. Referrals available to San Francisco Behavioral Health Services for substance use counseling and/or higher need clients.
Provide assistance in accessing resources for food, clothing, shelter, medical equipment, in-home support, transportation and related paperwork.
Consulting psychiatrist available by referral only. Speak to your primary care physician if you’re interested. Fridays only.

Foot care, bunions, diabetic foot exams

Medicine reconciliation, drug interactions and scheduling, patient education
Nutrition education, chronic condition diet recommendations, healthy lifestyle changes
