What matters most to patients at the SFHN? – Drivers of Satisfaction

In March 2016, the central SF Health Network PAC Collaborative team went to all our primary care health centers to talk about one question: What do our patients care about most?

We started with the question, “Would you recommend this health center to your family and friends?” We then asked what matters most to patients when they think about how to answer this.

The Blue Shield of California Foundation surveyed patients who access healthcare in safety net health centers across California about this same question. What matters most? They found over 16 “Drivers of Satisfaction” — elements of care for which, if the patient was more satisfied, they tended to be more satisfied with their overall care. In other words, parts of the care that were most important, driving the patient to be satisfied with care overall.

We asked our patients to rank their top 10 “drivers.” Stay tuned for the results – we will post again in May!
