Starting today, the SF Health Network welcomes Jeanette Cavano, Pharm.D. as the new Ambulatory Care Clinic Pharmacy Supervisor. She will supervise clinical pharmacist staff and programs at the SFGH campus clinics and the Community Oriented Primary Care Clinics.

Dr. Cavano has more than seventeen (17) years of broad based pharmacy experience including positions in behavioral health, geriatrics and pharmacy administration. She is a graduate of the UCSF School of Pharmacy, where she also completed a pharmacy practice residency and a two year fellowship in Behavioral Health.

Dr. Cavano’s wealth of experience was earned from a variety of Bay Area Hospitals including Kaiser Permanente, Contra Costa County and the Jewish Home. She has worked in the City Community Behavioral Health Services for the past 6 years.

She has a collaborative, open style and offers a systems perspective for improving pharmacy programs. Her leadership style is one that fosters excellence and innovation. It is a great pleasure to have her on the Pharmacy leadership team.
